Muriel Dumit

Muriel Dumit is serving as an intern at the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water), where she is studying the use of nitrous oxide for water treatment. Muriel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from GW, where she graduated in 2009. She received her Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from GW in 2011.

Tara Dunseith

Tara Dunseith graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering, with a minor in Geography, from GW, in 2014.

Lorie Duplanier

Lorie Duplanier got her Bachelor of Science degree in political science from the Texas A&M University in 2005. She received her Master of it Arts degree environment and resource policy at GW.

Sandra Duque

Sandra Duque works for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the Office of Governmental Information. Sandra, who formerly served in the Peace Corps in Paraguay, is especially concerned with U.S.-Mexico relations and the Border 2012 program. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from the University of Scranton, where she graduated in 1999, and completed her Master of Engineering Management degree in Environmental and Energy Management at GW in 2006.

Claire Duthu

Claire Duthu hails from France.  Claire was on an exchange program from France during her graduate education at GW. She received her Master of Science degree in Management and Business from the ESSEC Business School after returning home from her graduate studies at GW, graduating in 2014.

Ryan Edgar

Ryan Edgar works as a Policy Analyst at the US Department of the Interior, just a couple of blocks from the GW campus. Ryan received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Chaminade University in Hawaii in 2006. He received his Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management from GW in 2011.

Andrew Einhorn

Andrew Einhorn is President of his 48-person firm, Synoptos, with offices in DC, KC, and Taiwan. They mostly deal with energy companies. Formerly an Environmental Consultant with the ICF Kaiser Corporation, he worked on environmental impact statements, and supported the Office of Pesticides at the Environmental Protection Agency and also did regulatory support work for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he graduated in 2001. He graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Environmental & Energy Management in May 2005.

Erkan Ekingen

Erkan Ekingen hails from Turkey. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Istanbul Technical University in 1992, and Master of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Florida in 2004. Erkan graduated from GW with a Master of Business Administration degree in 2013.

Dr. Sherif El-Ramly

Dr. Sherif El-Ramly received his Doctor of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management from GW in 2002. Sherif earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University in Cairo, Egypt, in 1995. He received his Master of Engineering Management degree from GW in 1996. Sherif currently works as an Environmental Consultant with Ecoconserv in Cairo, Egypt.

Elena Emelyanova

Elena Emelyanova was a Visiting Scholar from Russia who conducted graduate studies on a Fulbright Scholarship with the Environmental and Energy Management Program at GW from 1999-2000. During her studies in the United States, Elena also served an internship in water pollution control in Arlington, Virginia. Elena received her undergraduate degree from the Novosibirsk University in 1982 and her graduate degree from the St. Petersburg Technological Academy in 1989. Although she has returned to Russia, Elena continues to maintain her relationship with GW and returns to visit from time to time.

Victoria Logavlen Engh received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from GW in 2017. She is graduated with her Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering as part of the five-year dual degree program of SEAS in 2018.

Craig Erdrich

Craig Erdrich is a graduate of Duke University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2003. Craig presently serves as a Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy at the US Department of Energy in Washington DC.

Dr. Uzo Eric Chukwu

Dr. Uzo Eric Chukwu graduated from GW in 2002 with a Doctor of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management. Eric received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from the Southern University in Houston Texas, in 1981, and his Master of Science in Logistics Management form the University of Central Texas in1992. Eric, who originally is from Nigeria, currently works for the U.S. Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia.

Matt Erke

Matt Erke received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 2006. Matt received Master of Arts degree in Environmental and Resource policy from GW in 2011.

Kufre Essiet currently works for the DuPont Co. where he is a Reliability Engineer. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Uyo in Nigeria in 2008. Kufre graduated with his Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from GW in 2012.

Kurt Ettenger

Kurt Ettenger is a Program Manager for the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Program with the General Services Administration in Washington, D.C. Kurt, who received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the George Mason University in 1995, received a master's degree in Environmental and Resource Policy from GW in 2002.

Vera Ettenger

Vera Ettenger originally is from Russia. Vera is a graduate of the Kuban State University in Russia, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1995. Vera, who graduated with a Master's degree from GW in 2002, presently works for White Swan, Inc.

Jennifer Fairbrother

Jennifer Fairbrother is a graduate of the Oregon State University, where she graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Environmental Science. Jennifer graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Public Health Policy from GW in 2010.

Jason Feldman

Jason Feldman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Spanish from Northwestern University. Jason was pursuing his Master of Public Health degrees at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, when he was displaced by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. Jason continued his studies in the Fall 2005 semester in the Environmental and Energy Management program at GW. Although Jason has returned to Tulane to complete his graduate studies hen Tulane reopens, he will always be a part of GW's Environmental and Energy Management "family."

Russell Fette

Russell Fette works for the U.S. Air Force in the NASA Goddard Space program. Russ received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Mechanics from the U.S. Air Force Acadamy in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 2003. Russell obtained his Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering at GW.

Stephen Fields

Dr. Stephen Fields received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Environmental and Energy Management at GW in 2012. Before attending GW, he earned his Master's degree in Systems Engineering from University of Virginia and his Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech. In 2008, Stephen accepted a new position with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Commissioner, as an Operations Research Analyst. In his new job, Stephen is involved in assessing several key aspects of agency program performance within the various FDA centers to identify ways of improving performance to coincide with FDA's overall Strategic Plan. He presently is working on three principal tasks. (1) providing information and analyses to help agency officials, the Department, and members of Congress make decisions related to programs, policies, budgets, and planning (2) assisting FDA managers improve program operations and performance, and (3) disseminating evaluation results and methodological tools useful to FDA managers and the public health community. Stephen previously worked with the U.S. National Institutes of Health as an Environmental Engineer.

Phil Fiorenzo

Phil Fiorenzo received his Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering, with a Minor and Computer Science, at GW, where he graduated in 2016.  Phil graduated with his Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from GW in 2017. He works as an MPS R&D Systems Engineer II at Becton Dickinson Company.

Tom Fitzgerald

Tom Fitzgerald received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Santa Clara University in California in 2004. Tom currently works for Solar Town, which markets a variety of solar energy products. Tom obtained a Master of Public Policy degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Policy from GW in 2011.

Trina Fletcher

Trina Fletcher received her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Arkansas. She also holds a Master of Science and Operations Management from the University of Ark saw. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management from the GW in 2012. Trina recently was awarded an EAA Fellowship to support her graduate studies. Presently, Trina is pursuing her Doctoral degree in Engineering Education at the Purdue University as a George Washington Carver fellow.

Georgette Fogle

Georgette Fogle is a Management Analyst with the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Department of the Interior. Georgette graduated from Claflin University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Information Systems.

Erica Folio

Erica Folio is a General Engineer in the Office of Fossil Fuels at the U.S. Department of Energy. Erica obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences from the Pennsylvania State University, where she graduated in 2012. She graduated with a Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management from GW, with a focus on the energy option.

Randy Force

Randy Force works for the Computer Sciences Corp., where he works as a Project Engineer supporting NAVSEA. Randy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and he hopes to bring to bear his interest in environmental protection to business matters.

Adam Forrer

Adam Forrer received his undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and Political Science from the University of Richmond in 2014. He graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Environmental and Resource Policy from GW. Adam also is serving as a Legislative Intern with the Sierra Club in Washington, DC.

Rebecca Freeburn

Rebecca Freeburn is a graduate intern at the LMI Research Institute. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, Business, Environment and Natural Resources from the University of Wyoming, where she graduated in 2007. Rebecca received her Masters degree from GW in 2011.

Eileen Fretz

Eileen Fretz graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2003 with a Master of Arts degree in Environmental Science. Eileen obtained her Master of Arts degree in Environmental and Resource Policy at GW in 2006. Eileen currently works for American Rivers as a Government Relations Associate.

Dana Breil Friedman

Dana Breil Friedman graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in natural resources in 2002. She graduated from GW with a Master of Public Policy degree for focusing on environmental studies in 2007. Dana currently works for the Office of Pesticide Programs at the EPA as a Chemical Review Manager.

Rebecca Ann Fuller

Rebecca Ann Fuller is a Policy Research Assistant (in Telecom) at the Progress & Freedom Foundation. She holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science (with a minor in Economics) from BANC State University. She received her Masters studies in Environmental and Natural Resource Policy from GW.

Dr. Paul G. Bourget

Dr. Paul G. Bourget is a Program Manager with the Engineering and Research Center of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, in 1979. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Geography from the George Mason University. Paul graduated with his Doctor of Science degree in Crisis and Emergency Management at GW in 2003.

Dr. Rajeshwari Ganguli works for Tetratech EMI in Reston, Virginia. Raji took Environmental and Energy Management courses at GW while pursuing her doctoral studies in the Department of Environmental Science and Policy at the George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

Yuankan Gao

Yuankan Gao received his Bachelor Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Southeast University in China, where he graduated in 2011. He obtained his Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at GW in 2015.

Lara Gast

Lara Gast is a Presidential Management Fellow, Green Management Program at Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington DC. Lara received her Bachelor of Science degree in Management, with concentrations in Finance and Operations Management, from Boston University, where she graduated in 2004. She received her Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Environmental Policy in Management, from GW in 2011.

Matthew Gaviorno

Matthew Gaviorno recevied his Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from GW. He graduated from GW and was commissioned as a naval officer in 2009.

Cynthia Gee

Cynthia Gee currently works as a Management Analyst in the Office of the Inspector General, U.S. Department of State. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Analysis and Engineering from GW in 1999 and graduated with her Master of Engineering Management degree from GW in 2001. She says that "pursuing my newly discovered interests in the environment alongside that of my long-running interest in systems engineering will only help me get a better idea of what area of management I should pursue."

Heather Gewandter

Heather Gewandter received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York in Genesco in 2000, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. She obtained her Master of Arts degree in Environmental and Resource Policy at GW.

Steve D. Giffin

Steve D. Giffin is an environmental advisor with Exxon Mobil Corporation. His responsibilities include establishing and auditing environmental compliance procedures; obtaining air, water, and other environmental permits; providing interface with State and Federal environmental agencies; and providing environmental training. He holds a BSCE degree from Georgia Tech and an MS in Environmental Engineering from The University of Maryland. Steve is a registered professional engineer in the State of Maryland and has over ten years of experience as a manager and engineer in consulting and industry.

Solome Girma

Solome Girma currently is an Energy Performance Engineer at the Johnson Controls Corporation. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University, where she graduated in 2006. Solome received her Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management at GW in 2012.

Jessica Glasser

Jessica Glasser is a Newscast Producer at WUSA-TV Channel 9 in Washington, D.C. Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from GW in 1996 and received her masters degree in Environmental and Resource Policy, also at GW.

Jos Ramn Gmez

Jos Ramn Gmez, who hails from Colombia, currently is a consultant at the World Bank, on the LCSEN - Environmentally & Socially Sustainable Development Latin America & Caribbean Region, in Washington, D.C. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering from The University of La Salle in Bogot, Colombia. He received his Master of Science degree from GW, Fall 2001, in Engineering Management with concentration in Environmental and Energy Management. He is currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program, at the Civil and Environmental Department at GW. Currently, at the World Bank, he is working on projects such as the implementation of the Montreal Protocol in Chile and Argentina, a sustainable transport and clean air project for Santiago in Chile, and the Second Communication for Climate Change in Argentina.

Tunji Godo currently serves as a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trade Office in Washington, D.C. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2011. Tunji graduated with his Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management at GW.

Jaclyn Gold works as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist for the GWU Health and Safety Department. Jaclyn received her undergraduate degree in Applied Science and Technology from GW in 2010. She received her Master of Science Degree in Engineering Management, with a focus on Crisis, Emergency and Risk Management, from GW in 2013.

Rachel Goldstein graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Factors Engineering form the Tufts University in 1990 and received her Master of Business Administration degree in Environmental Management and Policy from GW in May 2003.

Noel Goldstein is a Senior business process Analyst with the Lockheed Martin Corporation. He is very much interested in helping Lockheed Martin address its environmental challenges. Noel graduated from the University of Delaware in 1999, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Materials Engineering.

Maggie Goldwasser received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2001 from Connecticut College and graduated with a master's degree in environmental and resource policy from GW in 2008. After graduation from GW, Maggie was hired by ICF International.

Yixaun Gong received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, in 2015. He presently graduated with his Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from GW.

Angela Goodiel

Angela Goodiel received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Earth Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis in 2012. Angela graduated with a Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management with a focus on renewable energy.  While a student, she worked as an intern for the Environmental Defense Fund. She subsequently worked for Carolina Energy Conservation and REC Solar. Angela is currently a Customer Experience Associate at Arcadia Power.

 
Jean-Marc Gorelick

Jean-Marc Gorelick is serving as a Crisis, Stabilization, and Governance Foreign Service Officer in the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Dakar, Senegal. Before joining USAID in 2009, Jean-Marc worked on democracy and governance projects in Africa for Development Alternatives Inc, and the International Republican Institute, respectively. Jean-Marc served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Togo, focusing on civic education projects. He holds an M.A. in International Development Studies, with a Political Science concentration, from the Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University. He has also authored several articles on DG in Africa matters in the Christian Science Monitor.

Alex Gorsky

Alex Gorsky graduated from Beloit College in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies.  He graduated his Master of Public Policy at GW while working as a Research Assistant at the GW Center for Health Care Innovation and Policy Research.

Phillip Graeter

Phillip Graeter is from Germany. Phil is currently an analyst at Energy Ventures Analysis, Inc. In 2013 he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from GW, where he was a champion swimmer. Phil received his Master of Science Degree in Environmental and Energy Management from GW in 2014.

Jodi Graul Bellacicco

Jodi Graul Bellacicco currently serves as a program manager for the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in the Environmental Energy Technologies Division. Formerly she was an Environmental Engineer/Environmental Health Analyst for the Northrop Grumman Corporation, where she worked on air quality programs for the U.S. Air Force. Jodi received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Economics, with a minor in Biology and Environmental Sciences, at the James Madison University in 2003. She received her Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management from GW in May 2008.

Zach Graybill

Zach Graybill received his Bachelor of Science degree in Systems engineering from GW and 2016. He has graduated with his Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from GW in 2017. Zach is working as a Systems Engineer at Noblis.

Erin Grizard

Erin Grizard is a Research Specialist at the Annenberg Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C. Erin received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon in 2000, and obtained her master of Public Policy degree with an environmental focus at GW.

Junchao Gu

Junchao Gu is working as a project assistant for the Energy Research Institute(ERI) of the National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC). The NDRC is a macroeconomic management agency under the Chinese State Council, which has broad administrative and planning control over the Chinese economy, while ERI is one of the think tanks for NDRC focusing on energy regulatory design. Junchao is currently assisting with a pilot project called Sustainable Low-carbon City Development, which includes 11 heavily industrialized cities in the central and northern parts of China. The project is conducted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIT) and was founded by the Energy Foundation. It is expected to conclude in three years. Previously Junchao worked as a consultant on a waste heat recovery project conducted jointly by the Institute of Industrial Productivity (IIP) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Junchao Gu received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Wuhan University in China in 2012. He graduated with his Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management from GW in 2014.

Peter Gudritz is a Conservation Fellow with American Rivers in Washington, D.C. Peter received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2004 and received his Master of Public Policy degree in Environmental Policy at GW.

Krishna Gulkotwar

Krishna Gulkotwar received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Nagpur University in India and 2007. Krishna received his Master of Science degree from the EMSE Department in 2010.

Virginia Gum

Virginia Gum works for the Methanol Institute in Arlington, Virginia. She is a graduate of the West Virginia Wesleyan College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science in 2004. Virginia received her Master of Arts degree in Environmental and Resource Policy from GW in 2007.

Rachael Gunaratnam

Rachael Gunaratnam works for the U.S. Chemical Safety Board as a Recommendations Specialist. Rachael, who received her Graduate Certificate and Emergency Management in Public Healthfrom GW in 2010, is a 2002 graduate of Boston University, where she majored in journalism. Rachael also has a Masters degree in Environmental Management from the University of New South Wales, where she graduated in 2006.

Ed Hagarty

Ed Hagarty is a Program Manager with the URS Corporation in northern Virginia. Ed received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Science in Civil Engineering degrees from the North Carolina State University in 1977 and 1980, respectively. He graduated with a Doctor of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management at GW in May 2008.

Dr. Susan Hall

Dr. Susan Hall graduated with a Doctor of Science degree in Engineering Management with a concentration in Environmental and Energy Management in 2006. She is a Senior Executive Service Level Program Manager at the National Imaging and Mapping Agency, where she works to better understand the earths environment using high altitude imagery. Sue obtained her Bachelors degree in Geography from George Mason University in 1980, followed-up by her Master of Engineering Management degree in Information Management at GW.

Grant Halloran graduated from GW in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography. Grant obtained his Master of Business Administration degree in Environmental Management and Policy at GW in 2006.

Akane Hanai

Akane Hanai is from Japan. Akane graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Kwansei Gakuin University in Japan in 2002 and received her masters degree in Environmental and Energy Management at GW in 2009.

Nick Hart

Dr. Nick Hart currently works as a senior program examiner at the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) focusing on natural resource issues. Prior to joining OMB, Nick worked as an Economic Research Analyst for the Indiana Business Research Center at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Nick holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and a Masters of Public Affairs degree from Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs and a Bachelor of Science degree from Truman State University. He graduated from GW in 2015 with his Doctoral degree in Public Policy and Administration.

Meredith Hauber presently is working as a Management Analyst at the Veterans Affairs, Office of the Inspector General, in Washington DC. Mike Helwig

Mike Helwig is with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, CO. He previously was a senior Analyst at the Institute for Defense Analysis in Northern Virginia. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Illinois in 1982 and his Masters degree (Operations Research) from the Naval Postgraduate School in 1991. Mike graduated from GW with a Doctor of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management in 2006.

Mary Liz Hepburn

Mary Liz Hepburn is a Senior Specialist with Verizon, Inc. Holding an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Emory University, Mary Liz received her master's degree in Environmental and Resource Policy at GW.

Benjamin Heras

Benjamin Heras is the Deputy Director for Domestic and International Standards at the Agencia de Seguridad, Energia y Ambiente in Mexico City. Benjamin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Rec de Monterey in Mexico in 2012. He attended GW on a Carlos Slim Fellowship and graduated with his Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management in 2015.

Aimee Hessert works for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as the Deputy Director for the NEPA Compliance Division in the Office of Federal Activities. Aimee received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from Bucknell University in 2001 and obtained her Master of Arts degree in Public Policy, with a concentration in Environmental Affairs from GW in 2005.

Shannon Hill is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Resource Economics in 2015. Nicole Hilliard works as a Systems Engineer for the Decision Analytics Operation. Nicole received her Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2002. She received her Master of Science degree in Engineering Management from GW in 2011.

Nicole Hilliard works as a Systems Engineer and Analyst for the Decision Analytics Corporation. Nicole holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech, where she graduated in 2002. She graduated with a Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management from GW in 2012.

Jeneva Hinojosa worked as a laboratory technician and research assistant at GW. Geneva received her Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering at GW in 2006. Jeneva received her Master of Science in environmental engineering in May 2008.

Will Hitchcock

Will Hitchcock received his Bachelors degree in marketing from GW in 2006 and currently works as a Project Assistant in the Office of Real Estate at GW. Will graduated from GW with a Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management in 2013.

Atoosa Hodjati

Atoosa Hodjati works for Teleworld Solutions Inc., where she is a Program Manager II. Atoosa obtained her Bachelor Science degree from the Iran Polytechnique University. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from the Iran University of Science and Technology and a Master of Science degree in Engineering and Technology Management from GW. Atoosa graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Engineering and Technology Management from GW.

Seung-Jin (SJ) Hong originally is from Seoul, Korea. An employee of Defenders of Wildlife, SJ earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and his Master of Arts degree in Environmental and Resource Policy at GW.

Robert Hopp

Robert Hopp received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Maryland, Baltimore Campus, in 2015. Robert received his Master of Arts degree in Environmental and Resource Policy from GW in 2017 and works in Survey & Program Evaluation at VISTA Food Recovery Network.

Heather Horn

Heather graduated from the University of Miami (Florida) with a BA degree in Environmental Planning and Political Science in 2004. She received her Masters degree in Environmental and Resource Policy at GW in 2009.

Jordan Hosmer-Henner

Jordan Hosmer-Henner is the Research Director for Tech Change in Washington DC. Jordan received his Bachelor of Arch degree and Economics and Public Policy Studies from Duke University in 2009. He graduated with his Master of Arch degree in International Affairs -- Science and Technology Policy -- from GW in 2013.

Mu Hu

Mu Hu is from in China. He received his undergraduate degree from the South West Petroleum University in China, with a major in Transportation Engineering in 2017. He earned his Master of Science degree in Environmental and Energy Management from GW.

Michelle Hurley works for the Department of State, where she is a Sustainable Design Coordinator in Overseas Buildings Operations. Michelle received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland in 2006. She received her Master of Arts degree in International Development Studies at GW in 2013.

Patricia Hutchins

Patricia Hutchins currently works as an Operations Research Analyst in the Energy Information Administration, U.S. Department of Energy. Tricia graduated from Colgate University in New York with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Astrogeophysics in 2005. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Environmental and Resource Policy from GW in the summer, 2009.

Mukhtar K. Ibrahim

Mukhtar K. Ibrahim is an Environmental Engineer with the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, where he is responsible for a variety of water resources projects, including the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers Water Quality Data Trends Analysis and the DC-WASA Long Term Combined Sewer Overflow Planning Project. Before joining COG, Mukhtar worked at Camp Dresser and McKee in Annandale, Virginia, where he worked on various projects including watershed delineation, flow analysis, data manipulation, and digitizing. Mukhtar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering degree from the University of the District of Columbia and completed his Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the George Washington University in January 2000.

Olugbenga Idowu

Olugbenga Idowu received his undergraduate degree from the George Mason University in 2006. Gbenga presently is working as a Primary Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trade Office. He graduated with a Master of Science degree in Robotics and Control from GW.

Omashola (Anthony) Igbene works as a Regulatory and Compliance Engineer at the Maryland Department of Environment. Anthony obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Morgan State University, where he graduated in 2012. Adam Jachimowicz is an Emergency Planner with the United States Army Corps of Engineers in Washington, D.C. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in geography. He graduated with his Doctor of Philosophy degree, with a major in Crisis, Emergency and Risk Management, from GW in 2014.

Prasan Jaroenpiboonkit

Prasan Jaroenpiboonkit is from Thailand. Prasan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering from the Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, where he graduated in 1997. Before coming to GW to pursue his Master of Engineering Management degree in Environmental and Energy Management, Prasan worked in the wastewater treatment construction industry in Bangkok, Thailand. He received his MEM degree in Spring 2002.

Kim Jessen

Kim Jessen graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2003 with a degree in International Studies. Kim currently works with the SEEP Network in micro-finance and enterprise development as a graduate practicum intern. Kim received her Master of Arts in International Development in May 2009.

Beck Jimenez

Beck Jimenez received her Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from GW in 2014. She received her Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering at GW in 2017; while working as a Civil and Environmental Engineer at the Black and Veatch Corporation in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Rebecca Jimenez presently works for DC Water as a Gradually Research Intern. Becky received her Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with an environmental focus, from GW in 2011. Becky graduated with her Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from GW in 2013.

Christyl Johnson

Christyl C. Johnson recently was appointed by the White House as the Executive Director of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC). The NSTC, a Cabinet-level council, is the principal means within the Executive Branch to coordinate science and technology policy across the diverse entities that make up the Federal research and development enterprise. Christyl previously was an Assistant Associate Administrator at NASA, where she managed earth science missions and conducted research in remote sensing. Chrystl graduated from GW with a Ph.D. degree in Environmental and Energy Management in 2011.

Todd Johnston

Todd Johnston works for the US Bureau of the Census, where he holds the position of Statistician. Todd received his undergraduate degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. He graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from GW.

Julia Kalloz

Julia is working as an energy grant specialist for the Office of Sustainable Energy within Baltimore City's Department of Public Works. She evaluates, manages and monitors energy projects for the City government. Julia was formerly an Energy and Environmental Analyst at Logistics Management, Inc. She received her bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Villanova University in 2007 and her Master of Public Policy degree from GW in 2013.

Chakavak Kamran

Chakavak Kamran grew up in Tehran, Iran, and attended the Islamic Azad University in Tehran where she graduated with her Bachelor of Site's degree in Chemical Engineering in 2011. Presently Chaka recieved her masters of Civil and Environmental Engineering form GW. She is working as a Water Resources Engineer II, Water Infrastructure at ATKINS.
