In the Fall 2021 semester, EEMI Director of Professional education Dr. Ed Saltzberg announced a major new program focusing on energy resilience including training on strategies for strengthening supply chains, decarbonizing buildings, developing intelligent technologies, electrifying transportation and production, and working in dynamic energy markets. This new initiative is in response to the reality that, for companies and communities, resilience has become essential in an increasingly turbulent global economy.

The new program is aimed at designing resilient, sustainable energy systems, which is critical for organizations to thrive as the world accelerates toward a net-zero carbon emissions economy. Understanding how energy systems are evolving is equally essential for today’s professionals to become better leaders, energy advisors, decision-makers, investors, regulators, and educators.

Dr. Saltzberg and the seven instructors in the program conducted a 75-minute webinar during the semester to discuss the elements of each of the seven courses.
