The Environmental and Energy Management Institute hosted the Association of Energy Engineer’s Engineering Job Fair and Career Seminar on Friday, October 13, 2017, in the Science and Engineering Hall. It was the fifth annual Engineering Job Fair of the Association of Energy Engineers – National Capital Chapter.
The event was a terrific opportunity for engineering students to meet prospective employers who hosted booths at the event. The keynote seminar: entitled “Pursuing Careers in the Energy Sector,” featured career development professionals as speakers who provided attendees with valuable career advice.
Speakers were Robert Brandau, Founder ofCareer-Confidence.org; Laura M. Labovich, Chief Executive Officer of the Career Strategy Group; Beth Offenbacker, Ph.D., HR Consultant and Coach at Waterford, Inc.; and Andrew Alexander, President of Powerhouse Recruiting.
